Whenever a person is referred to Drake Center Therapies at University Pointe, the highly trained Drake Center team focuses on the unique needs of the individual and family. After careful evaluation, they design a specialized treatment plan geared to the patient’s needs. During planning and treatment, the staff also works in cooperation with the patient’s referring physician, insurer, and employer as needed.

What is University Pointe?

Drake Center’s new satellite office is located within University Pointe, a new health care center in West Chester, Ohio. The project developer is the UC Physicians group, which represents over 450 highly qualified doctors in 19 different specialties.

University Pointe offers patient services in a wide range of areas—including family medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, dermatology, obstetrics & gynecology, internal medicine, orthopedics, surgery, ENT, psychiatry, rehabilitation, and other areas.

Services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology, provided in well-equipped therapy areas. The team’s areas of special expertise include neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Physical therapy (PT)

Getting therapies and financial coverage

All these therapies require a doctor's prescription. Medicare and most other insurance plans may cover most costs. When a person is referred to Drake Center Therapies at University Pointe, a staff member calls the insurance company to authorize treatment. If the patient has no coverage, a convenient payment plan can be arranged.
