Outpatient Services

Our Outpatient Services program provides rehabilitative and diagnostic services to patients who no longer need inpatient care. Patients may begin our outpatient program directly after their discharge from Drake Center or another hospital, or may begin at any time they can benefit.

As in our inpatient programs, we develop an individualized treatment plan to help each patient reach their highest level of independence. Our extensive range of services and diagnosis-specific programs are available at our main campus and at several satellite locations.

Rehabilitative services:

  • Physical therapy- musculoskeletal rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, balance/gait training, wheelchair evaluation, transitional work care, disability management, medical pilates.
  • Occupational therapy- home safety evaluation, driver evaluation and training, job assessment, hand therapy, neurorehabilitation, environmental control assessment and adaptation. 
  • Speech-language pathology- speech and language therapy, swallowing therapy, cognitive therapy
  • Hand Therapy- can help patients with non-surgical and surgical conditions of the hand and upper extremity improve range of motion and strength, and restore maximum hand and arm function using a variety of treatment interventions including custom static and dynamic splinting, exercises, ergonomic training, manual techniques and modalities such as electrical stimulation, heat/cold, and ultrasound.
  • Audiology- hearing evaluation and hearing aids
  • Medical psychology and neuropsychology- therapy, counseling, neuropsychology assessment
  • Community re-entry
  • Driver simulation
  • Case management

Pharmacy

Our Retail & Outpatient Pharmacy offers prescription and many over-the-counter medications to patients, employees and the community. Pharmacist Greg Clausing, R.Ph., will gladly assist you and answer your pharmacy questions. Located on our main campus at 151 W. Galbraith Road, the pharmacy is easily accessible to visitors and employees alike through the rear entrance of the building in the South Pavilion Lobby. Cash, major credit cards, and personal checks with proper ID are accepted. Open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Closed 12:30 - 1:15 p.m.) Call 513-418-2364.
