
Drake Center's Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Program provides comprehensive services for the evaluation and treatment of patients with MS. The goals are to help them get back to their daily lives and give them hope for the future.
The Drake Center MS Program features an interdisciplinary team of professionals with special training, expertise, and dedication to caring for patients with MS. This team is lead by fellowship-trained physician specialists in neurology and physical medicine & rehabilitation.

Patients with MS are evaluated by this team of specialized clinicians. Other disciplines can be consulted as needed. The team evaluates the individual to develop the most comprehensive treatment plan possible, based on the unique needs of the patient and family.
Specialized treatment may focus on movement, muscle strengthening, pain management, bladder & bowel management, bracing, equipment evaluation, spasticity & mobility management, nutrition counseling, and patient/family education. In addition, therapists work with patients to help them learn new approached to activities of daily living and reinforce techniques learned during therapy sessions.
