Drake Center: Specialized Medical & Rehabilitative Care

Dr. Bryan E. Adkins

From people with complex orthopedic and neurological conditions to victims of stroke and traumatic brain injuries, the road to recovery may be a slower, more guarded process for many patients. With that in mind, Drake Center has established one of the region’s most prominent Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) units, helping restore each individual to the highest possible level of functioning and independence in the most appropriate, cost-effective setting.

For Dr. Brian Adkins, an attending physician in Drake Center’s LTAC unit, the opportunity to help patients across so many specialty areas meshed well with his background in family medicine. Prior to joining Drake Center in May 2002, Dr. Adkins was a physician for four years with Alliance Physicians & Surgeons in Kenwood, providing full patient care for geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients alike.

Board-certified in family medicine in 1996, Dr. Adkins is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. He attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his residency at the school’s Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Adkins is also a physician volunteer with the Health Ministry of St. Michael Church in Sharonville.
